Types of Spray Booths

A spray booth is a must for any business that uses aerosols. It helps to control the volume of aerosols and the amount of mist that is produced, which can help to improve workplace safety. There are different types of spray booths available, so it’s important to choose one that will meet your specific needs.

Some factors you should consider when purchasing a spray booth include:

  • The type of material you'll be spraying: Some booths are specifically designed for fabricating materials, while others are more suited for using chemicals or other objects.
  • The features of the booth: Some booths have built-in ventilation systems and filters, while others require additional equipment (such as an exhaust system) to be installed.

There are a few different types of spray booths available on the market these days. The type you choose depends on the kind of spraying you will be doing and your budget.

The two most common types are backpack-style booths and surface-mount booths. Backpack-style booths are cheaper, but they can only be used for low-pressure spraying. Surface mount booths can handle higher pressures, but they are more expensive.

Another option is a mix of backpack and surface mount booths. This configuration is usually the most cost-effective because it allows you to use both high and low-pressure systems.

Another factor to consider is the size of the booth. Most businesses need at least a 4×8 foot booth, but sometimes larger sizes are required depending on the type of spraying being done.
